About Siksika Nation

Siksika Nation is a vibrant Indigenous community in southern Alberta, with deep cultural roots and an important place in Canadian history. Just east of Calgary, Siksika is part of the Blackfoot Confederacy, whose traditional territory spans across Alberta and into the United States.

Hosting a boxing event there not only highlights local athletic talent but strengthens cultural and community connections through sport — an experience that celebrates resilience, discipline, and unity.
