We’re excited to announce that on February 7, 2026, Chestermere Boxing Club will be hosting an official boxing card in partnership with SN7 and the Siksika Nation! This special event brings competitive boxing to the heart of one of Alberta’s most historic First Nations communities.

The Stars of Alberta Volunteer Awards celebrate everyday heroes whose generosity, passion, and service help strengthen community wellbeing and social connection and Patty Sproule embodies those values in every sense. Her belief in youth as future leaders and her unwavering support for community growth have left an indelible mark on Chestermere.
Patty Sproule, founder of the Synergy Youth and Community Development Society, was named a recipient of the 2025 Stars of Alberta Volunteer Award in the Senior category. Recognized for over 45 years of service, she was honored on December 5, 2025, by Lieutenant Governor Salma Lakhani and Minister Tanya Fir for her tireless dedication to youth, mental health, and community development, particularly in Chestermere.

Fighting Spirit Development Program – Now Launched
Fighting Spirit Development Program Launch
Chestermere Boxing Club is proud to announce that November 4, 2025, marked the start of the Fighting Spirit Development Program, in partnership with Many Guns Boxing & Fitness Club, Siksika Nation, Siksika Parks and Recreation, Boxing Canada, and LP Events.
Working together with these outstanding partners, the program focuses on empowering youth across Southern Alberta through the discipline and community of boxing. The program is being hosted at Many Guns Boxing & Fitness Club, located at Siksika Nation.

This year Chestermere Boxing Club were the recipient of the 2025 Communities ChooseWell Healthy Community Inspiration Award. This award celebrate the efforts and achievements of communities and wellness champions in recreation and parks settings across Alberta in promoting healthy eating and active living, and creating conditions where the healthy choice is the easy choice!
